Dr. John Luxat will deliver luncheon keynote at Future of Nuclear 2013

The Future of Nuclear team is pleased to announce that Dr. John Luxat, Professor and NSERC/UNENE Industrial Research Chair in Nuclear Safety Analysis, Department of Engineering Physics, McMaster University, will make the lunch-hour keynote address at Future of Nuclear 2013, to be held October 9 at MaRS Discovery District.  To read the complete conference-day agenda, click here.

Dr. Luxat is a leading voice in the field of nuclear science with research expertise in nuclear safety analysis, experimental studies in nuclear safety thermalhydraulics, and theoretical modelling studies in nuclear safety thermalhydraulics, subjects in which he is widely published.  His work involves the modeling of systems, components and physical processes that are found in a nuclear power station.  He has an international reputation and an established record of leading-edge technical contributions in nuclear engineering and nuclear safety analysis.

Dr. Luxat holds a P. Eng. and a Ph.D. in the fields of Nuclear Safety, Nuclear Engineering, Thermalhydraulics, and Reactor Physics.  He has served as Industrial Research Chair in Nuclear Safety Analysis with the National Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC) since 2004.
